Family Link Worker - 36hrs/39 weeks - Fixed Term until 13 April 2026

The James Young High School, a six-year comprehensive school in Livingston South, serves the communities of Bankton, Bellsquarry, Dedridge, and Williamston primary schools. We are seeking an enthusiastic Family Link Worker to join our support team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with various outside agencies and partners to support our young people's attainment and attendance. Candidates should be forward-thinking, dynamic, and solution-focused.
This position is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check before a formal offer of employment is made by West Lothian Council.
