Are you interested in making a difference? We have a rewarding opportunity available for a Business Assistant to join our friendly City East Community Mental Health Team, where we support people with Mental Health difficulties across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
City East CMHT is a Neighbourhood Community Mental Health Team based in City Centre and this is a full time position. However, the post-holder will be required to potentially work at different bases across the City (Maidstone Centre and Merlyn Vaz). We may also be able to accommodate some remote working, although the posts are predominately based on site.
As a Business Assistant you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive administration service to the multi-disciplinary team within the Health Care Centre setting and you will be joining a welcoming team who work well together and support each other.
We are looking for someone who is motivated, enthusiastic, a team player and above all able to demonstrates a commitment to the Trust’s values in everyday life. You will have excellent IT and audio-typing skills, good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise with service users in a calm and compassionate manner. You will need to be highly organised with good planning skills and highly skilled in Microsoft Office. We are looking for people with great administration experience and strong communication skills with the ability to work on their own and in a team.

Job Description Summary (Main Duties And Responsibilities)
As a Business Assistant, you will be required to attend meetings, taking minutes/notes of the meeting, circulating documentation including identifying actions ensuring they are logged, prioritised, and are followed up.
You will be planning and organising training, diary management of appointments and of the multi-disciplinary team and also events which will include co-ordinating travel arrangements and guest speakers.
You will support the processing of complex patient referrals which involves collating information from various internal/external agencies.
You will support in organising multi-agency meetings for patients and work collaboratively with the Mental Health Act office and processes.
You will support other patient related tasks including producing clinic letter via Digital Dictation, arranging outpatient appointments and Care Programme Approach meetings.
You will undertake diary management for yourself and others and you will communicate effectively via email, including implementing a flagging/prioritisation system.
You will be creating and formatting professional communications, such as letters, leaflets, presentations, reports and briefings to a high standard.
