Our Hereford client is looking for a Forklift Driver, qualified with a B1 counterbalance licence for a two shift Monday to Friday role that is a temporary route to permanent employment starting on a 7.30am to 4pm shift rota. The successful Forklift Driver will be required to work in various areas of the operation performing the following duties and will need to be available to work as well as days 7.30am to 4.00pm (39 hours per week with an early finish Friday at 3pm). Duration: 12 weeks lead to a permanent job position What you will be doing: Forklift duties - use of B1 counterbalance licence required Sorting and processing production type setting Carry out daily checklists to the highest standard Highlight any identified risks or issues to management What you will need: Experience with Forklift truck operation with a current B1 counterbalance licence Good level of English and basic numeracy skills The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided Compensation following 12 week temporary transfer to permanent £13.23 an hour if the 12 weeks work is successful you will be offered the opportunity to be a permanent employee and receive Contributory Company Pension Quarterly performance bonus scheme Additional shift allowances (if working shifts) Overtime opportunities Free onsite Parking Training and development opportunities Standard hours of work will start Monday to Thursday from 7.30 am to 16.00 pm and Friday 7.30 am to 15.00 pm. This role will require a degree of flexibility in relation to shift working, overtime and daily task requirements that will switch to 2 shift rota to 6am/2pm and 2 - 10pm/12pm rota*.
