?? Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute M&E Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of multiple projects, ensuring profitability and compliance from inception to completion.
?? Key Responsibilities Manage all commercial aspects of M&E projects from tender through to final account
Prepare and submit accurate valuations, variations, and cost reports
Monitor project budgets and forecasts to ensure financial targets are met
Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve commercial issues
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures
Conduct risk analysis and value engineering assessments
Support procurement and negotiate subcontractor packages
Prepare final accounts and assist with project close-out
?? Requirements Proven experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor within the building services industry
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and installations
Experience managing projects up to £10 million in value
Excellent knowledge of standard forms of contract (e.g., JCT, NEC)
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Excel, estimating tools, accounting systems)
Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
