The Role: As an Auto Electrician, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across our fleet of buses. You’ll ensure all electrical components are safe, reliable, and operating efficiently to keep our vehicles on the road and our passengers moving.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair electrical faults on buses and related vehicles
Carry out routine maintenance on electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and control panels
Perform safety inspections and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards
Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance work
Work closely with the wider engineering team to ensure smooth fleet operationsWhat We’re Looking For:
Proven experience as an Auto Electrician (ideally within the automotive or transport sector)
Strong understanding of vehicle electrical systems (buses, HGVs, or similar)
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
Good communication and teamwork skills
Relevant qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent) desirable
