The Corporate Practice Manager will partner with practice group leaders and the wider Practice Management team to deliver key initiatives across staffing, training, evaluations, and internal operations. This is a varied, people-focused role that combines project management with a deep understanding of legal practice needs and priorities.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee staffing, resource allocation and productivity, aligning client needs with associate development
* Drive training programmes, practice group meetings and skills development
* Manage performance evaluations and support career progression
* Foster strong relationships with associates and paralegals, promoting morale and mentoring
* Lead onboarding and integration of new hires and manage offboarding processes
* Support business development efforts and contribute to practice group budgeting and planning
* Champion innovation and adoption of legal technologies
* Support inclusion, pro bono, and community engagement initiatives
A qualified corporate lawyer (with Private Equity and/or M&A experience), with at least 3+ years at a leading law firm. Prior practice management experience is a plus, though not essential, an interest in leadership, talent development, and operational delivery is key. Strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills are essential. French language skills would be an advantage.
