Position Summary:
Salary: £34,727.27 per year (including shift allowance)
Benefits: 23 days holiday, pension scheme, PPE, staff discount shop, cycle to work, subsidized canteen, long service rewards.
Working Hours: 42 hours/week, rotating 12-hour days and nights over an 8-week cycle.
Location: Leicester SRDC, Bursom Road, Leicester LE4 1EX
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately pick, load, and tip goods for customer orders using Ride-on Pallet Trucks and RDTs.
* Support ad hoc warehouse movements with Mini-mover.
* Perform stock counts, process returns, and manage low code stock.
* Achieve personal and team KPI targets.
* Maintain stock accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and resolve stock issues.
* Ensure high service levels, meeting or exceeding KPI targets for failures, volume fill, and timeliness.
* Contribute to site safety through safety tours, initiatives, and action resolutions.
* Support BRC standards through personal accountability and participation in tours and initiatives.
* Contribute to the SRDC Lean agenda.
In addition, as an Advanced Skilled staff member, you will:
* Complete special pick tasks accurately.
* Operate Fork Lift Trucks for various warehouse activities.
* Support Goods In activities, including Green Goods In tasks.
* Participate in Orange Badge Tasks.
* Support warehouse operations support roles (Warehouse tech, Yard).
* Support shunting operations (premium rate applies).
* Train others in these responsibilities.
