Base pay range

Day or Night Support Worker

Mental Health Rehabilitation - Brookhaven & The Hamptons

Bamber Bridge, Preston

Full-Time Day Shifts - 38.5 Hours Per Week

£12.60 per hour / £25,225.20 per year

7:45 - 7:45 shifts on a two-week rolling rota


* Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
* Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Active Pathways is recruiting compassionate Support Workers! This is an exceptional opportunity to play a vital role in supporting individuals with enduring mental health needs to lead independent, fulfilling lives.

Brookhaven our 23-bed mixed-gender open rehabilitation service in Bamber Bridge, Preston and our sister service, The Hamptons, provide long-term treatment and support for adults facing complex mental health challenges. Care is delivered by a dedicated multidisciplinary team and focuses on inclusion, skills development, risk reduction, and relapse prevention.

As a Support Worker, you will:

* Provide person-centred care in a rehabilitation setting.
* Help residents develop independent living skills and achieve personal goals.
* Support residents with meaningful daily activities and community engagement.
* Assist with emotional, social, and practical needs.
* Work seamlessly within a multidisciplinary team to provide consistent support.
* Promote independence, self-confidence, and relapse prevention strategies.
* Encourage and support access to education, employment, and leisure opportunities.

* Confidence in building rapport with residents and the wider team.
* A strong understanding of person-centred, quality care.

Next door, The Hamptons is a 14-bed purpose-built inpatient rehabilitation hospital supporting men with complex mental health needs in a secure, structured environment.
