Job Title: Collection & Delivery Driver
Location: Crawley
Pay: £14.04 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday (Full-time, ongoing temporary role)
About the Role
As a Collection & Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for driving a long wheelbase van to collect and deliver parcels efficiently and safely. You will play a key role in ensuring timely deliveries while providing excellent customer service. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy a physically active job and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct vehicle safety checks before each shift.
* Plan and follow a dedicated delivery route (PDA provided).
* Collect parcels from various locations.
* Deliver parcels to households and businesses.
* Load and unload parcels (up to 30kg).
* Provide friendly and professional customer service.
Requirements
* Full UK driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
* Experience driving a long wheelbase van.
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 30kg).
* Self-motivated with excellent organisational skills.
* Flexible and resilient in a fast-paced environment.
