Take on a long-term subcontract Electrician role carrying out testing and associated works across social housing properties in the Midlands, covering areas such as Warwickshire, Coventry, Leicester and Stratford-upon-Avon.This is a field-based role working in occupied domestic properties, completing EICRs, remedials and associated electrical works across a consistent social housing contract.Id like to speak to anyone who has worked as an Electrician, Electrical Tester, EICR Tester or Domestic Tester within social housing or domestic maintenance.As an Electrician, you will be:Completing EICRs in occupied social housing propertiesCarrying out remedial works following inspectionsCompleting consumer unit and board changesUndertaking partial rewires and occasional full rewires where requiredInstalling and altering smoke alarm systems, including radio-linked detectorsTravelling across an allocated regional patchRecording completed works accuratelyId like to speak to anyone who has:18th EditionC&G 2391 or equivalent testing experienceECS Gold Card preferredExperience in domestic or social housing workOwn vehicle, test equipment and toolsAbility to work independentlyFull UK driving licenceThe role is offering:Long-term CIS/subcontract workConsistent social housing contractMaterials support providedLocalised patch where possibleCompetitive CIS rates depending on experience, tickets and outputThis Electrician role is offering flexible CIS pay, with rates discussed around experience and qualifications. As a guide, strong testers with the right tickets can expect rates around the £200 per day mark, with slightly lower rates considered depending on experience.Location & travelThis role is based across the Midlands, covering Warwickshire, Coventry, Leicester, Stratford-upon-Avon and surrounding areas.
