Verify are seeking an experienced Aerospace Mechanical Inspectior to support at a customer in Sleaford, UK. The role is full-time, 39 hours per week for a minimum of a 6 week period. Responsibilities The Dimensional Inspection activity will include: Performing detailed dimensional inspections of aerospace components using a range of precision measurement tools (e.g. micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, etc.) Interpreting engineering drawings, CAD models, and digital product definition (DPD) data Reviewing and verifying completeness and accuracy of manufacturing documentation (e.g. CofCs, routers, shop travellers) on an as-needed basis Preparing inspection and non-conformance documentation in line with customer and industry standards Ensuring all results are accurately recorded and updated in customer systems Collaborating closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to support resolution of dimensional issues Experience Demonstrate evidence of more than 2-years in the last 5-years of aerospace experience and possess experience of working within an engineering environment for a minimum of 3 years. Demonstrate knowledge of interpreting engineering drawings, CMM data, digital product definition interpretation Demonstrate knowledge of geometric, dimensioning and tolerance Ability to perform dimensional inspection using hand measurements tools The ability to articulate findings identified, both verbally and in writing.
