Accountant - Growing Accountancy Practice

Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be working with a growing and forward-thinking accountancy practice in their search for an Accountant to join their team.
You will be responsible for preparing year‑end accounts and personal tax returns for a small to medium portfolio of clients, while working closely with senior accountants, managers and partners across the practice. This is a fantastic opportunity for a AAT qualified accountant looking for greater exposure and career progression.
Responsibilities:
* Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
* Preparing Corporation Tax Returns, Self Assessment Tax Returns and P11Ds
* Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts
* Preparing Real Time Capital Gains Tax reports
* Ensuring deadlines and workload are managed effectively
* Supporting managers with ad‑hoc assignments and project work
Requirements:
* AAT qualified and studying towards ACA or ACCA (preferred)
* Minimum of 2+ years' experience within UK practice
* Strong experience using Xero or similar cloud accounting software
* Experience with Iris would be advantageous
