Our client, an expanding engineering business, seek to appoint a Sales Support Executive to their sales team. The Sales Support Executive will have excellent written English skills, great communication skills, be very well organised and capable of running the admin for multiple concurrent projects independently, and be comfortable on the phone working pro-actively to contact existing customers to chase progress. As you become more comfortable in post the option is there to move into a Sales Manager role if you wish. The appointed Sales Support Executive will need to have good commercial knowledge and will work alongside the technical team to better understand customer requirements. You don't need to be an engineer but you do need to understand the requirements of a technical sale and be able to understand technical info. You'll be given free reign (within reason!) to manage your own diary and must be well organised with good overall knowledge of the sales process.
