About the Role
GI Group is seeking to appoint a Head of Corporate Governance for our Public Sector, Healthcare client. The role is primarily remote and involves acting as an advisor to the Board of Directors, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and best practices.
Main Duties:
* Ensure good information flows to the Board of Directors and its committees, as well as between senior management and non-executive directors.
* Support and review governance arrangements regularly to keep them up to date.
* Coordinate the evaluation of the Board’s effectiveness and performance.
* Assist in planning, preparing, and submitting agendas, reports, minutes, and supporting documents in line with governance best practices.
* Support the Risk Manager in promoting and managing risk policies and tools.
Role Requirements:
* Extensive experience in a similar governance role.
* Experience in healthcare leadership.
* Relevant qualification in Corporate Governance or Risk Management.
* Degree-level education or significant relevant experience.
* Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
