Join our small, happy Church of England primary school in Warton, Preston. Founded in 1821 and proud to be part of the Blackburn Diocese, our Christian principles remain central to everything they do. The Opportunity: Temporary School Administrator
We are seeking a reliable and friendly School Administrator to provide essential basic administrative support on a temporary contract, starting this December.
This is a term-time only role, perfect for someone seeking consistent hours that align with the school calendar. You will be the welcoming face of the school, ensuring the office runs smoothly and supporting the central mission of our educational team.
Core Responsibilities
* Performing essential daily administrative duties.
* Assisting with basic communication and data entry.
* Supporting staff and pupils with day-to-day operational tasks.
Experience & Qualifications
* Prior school office experience.
* Experience with Sims, Oracle, and parent pay.
* Understanding of Microsoft applications.
* Ability to answer and transfer calls.
* Manage diaries and registers.
Position Details
Role: School Administrator (Basic Duties)
Contract: Temporary, Term-Time Only
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: 13.68 - 14.50 per hour
Start Date: December 2025
