Your new role
You'll lead the delivery and development of HR services, focusing on strategic support for the Housing Division. Your role includes handlingplex casework, managing change, and developing policies. You'll drive service improvements, ensurepliance with legislation, and provide expert advice to managers and directors. You'll also manage a team and oversee HR operations.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Provide an effective, consistent, and responsive HR service to meet customer needs, covering all areas of HR remit. Expert employee relations advice and support is provided to managers and directors across the council from start to finish.
2. Ensure the maintenance of current Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
3. Implement andply with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
4. Lead the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures, ensuringpliance with legislative changes and robustness to enable services to achieve their oues/goals.
5. Identify additional service requirements or service shortfalls and rmend innovative solutions.
6. Advise directors, managers, and other stakeholders on issues relevant to the service area, includingplex casework, change management and policy development. Participate in and attend hearings and appeals.
7. Strategic support to directorates as requested by the Head of HR, including preparing DMT reports and attending DMTs.
8. Ensure the website links are functioning correctly and appropriately, and the website is kept up to date. Develop and implement policy toolkits.
