About The Role:
Shift Pattern: Varied, primarily mid-morning to late afternoon
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation of service area and/or service points.
* As part of the catering operation, ensure service delivery is consistent and to the highest standard across all events.
* Provide excellent customer service with a dedicated and helpful approach.
* Maintain personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform standards at all times.
* Clearing and cleaning duties associated with service and related equipment and/or furniture.
* Correct storage of food items and equipment after service.
* Assist in the service within the whole Catering department as requested, including front of house duties during busy periods.
* Contribute to the organisation’s sustainability objectives.
Essential Hiring Criteria:
* Excellent time keeping and reliability
* Self-initiative, well organised and ability to work on his/her own
* A can-do attitude and flexible approach to work.
* Excellent attention to detail and consistency
* Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
* General knowledge of health and safety procedures.
* Understanding of basic food hygiene and HACCP
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
