We are seeking an AAT qualified accounting technician looking to become fully qualified accountants under the governments apprenticeship system to fill a permanent band 5 assistant management accountant position.
The course will be fully funded under the apprenticeship system and 20% of the full time hours will be used for training either in college or training at work.
These positions will give the successful applicants the chance to grow their professional skills and judgement at a high level and will need to deliver results quickly and effectively within the financial management team for a number of high profile areas of the trust, whilst studying for an internationally recognised qualification.

Support budget holders on achieving best value for money from resources
Support the Management Accountants with the annual budget setting process
To investigate budgetary variances and providing responses to budget holders
To provide leadership to management account assistants and task manage their workload
To prepare journals for entry into the financial system
To maintain the Trust chart of accounts and ESR work structures
To assist the publishing of the Finance Report
