Job Advert: English Supply Teacher - Brighton
Location: Brighton, East Sussex
Job Type: Supply (Full-time / Part-time / Flexible)
Start Date: Immediate
Salary: £130 - £200 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Supply Desk is working in partnership with a number of welcoming and inclusive secondary schools across Brighton who are currently seeking enthusiastic and adaptable English Supply Teachers to support their English departments on a flexible, ongoing basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced teachers looking for flexible work, or Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to build classroom experience in a range of schools.
Role
* Deliver engaging and well-structured English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
* Foster a love of reading, writing, and discussion across mixed-ability classes
* Follow school policies and contribute positively to the school community
* Adapt quickly to different classroom environments while maintaining high standards of behaviour and learning
What We're Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Specialism in English Language or Literature
* Excellent subject knowledge and communication skills
* A flexible, proactive, and professional approach to supply teaching
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
