You will report to the Senior Product Manager and will be responsible for a defined product group, driving value, mitigating supply chain risks, and delivering cost savings.
* Develop cost-effective buying solutions without compromising quality or service standards, aiming to reduce costs continually.
* Collaborate with supplier partners to ensure Lyreco gains first-to-market and exclusive product ranges, providing a competitive advantage.
* Work with manufacturers to establish first-to-market contractual and subscription-based business models, aiming for market-leading exclusives.
* Regularly review and simplify your product range, ensuring a comprehensive and efficient portfolio while eliminating duplicates.
* Monitor stock health, minimizing slow-moving and non-moving lines to optimize inventory levels.
* Support sales teams and participate in joint customer visits as a subject matter expert.
Product Manager Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
* Highly organized with the ability to multitask effectively.
* Skilled in negotiating with suppliers and communicating across various platforms.
* Experience in product buying or procurement within a fast-paced environment.
* Experience in B2B buying models is advantageous.
