An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, experienced, innovative, enthusiastic and caring Senior Nurse to become the Senior Staff Nurse within Ward 308, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, working as an integral part of the urgent and unscheduled care pathway.
A high level of interpersonal, communication and organisational skills are essential. You must be able to provide evidence of your professional development. Successful candidates must support and help lead and participate in the ongoing development of services in Ward 308.
This is a challenging and rewarding post in which the successful candidate will take responsibility for facilitating and providing clinical leadership and ensuring the delivery of high quality nursing care to acutely unwell patients in this critical care environment.
Management experience and evidence of continuing professional development is essential. A genuine interest in the care of patients with complex medical conditions is essential. Excellent leadership skills will be vital to help develop the nursing team.
The successful candidate will help support the SCN in the delivery of quality and service improvement to ensure the provision of safe and effective person-centred care. The candidate will also be expected to help lead audit and support the SCN in taking forward the nursing standards set out in the NMC Code and NHS Grampian’s Plan for the Future reflecting the organisations values.
