are partnering with a leading global financial services business to appoint a
Senior FP&A Manager
for an interim assignment to cover maternity. This is a high-profile role within the finance team, providing exposure to senior stakeholders and driving data-led decision-making.
The role will be central to driving financial planning, analysis, and reporting, ensuring the business has the insights it needs to make data-led strategic decisions. The successful candidate will bring advanced technical expertise in Excel, SQL, and Anaplan, ensuring robust financial models, accurate forecasting, and continuous improvement of planning processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the end-to-end budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning cycles.
* Partner with senior leadership to provide strategic insights and decision support.
* Build, maintain, and enhance complex financial models in Excel and Anaplan.
* Use SQL to extract, transform and analyse large datasets from core business systems.
* Develop and deliver accurate, timely and insightful reporting, including management packs and performance dashboards.
* Drive process improvements to strengthen forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
* Support ad-hoc strategic projects and financial analysis as required.
Key Requirements
* Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent with significant post-qualification FP&A experience.
* Proven track record in senior FP&A or finance business partnering roles.
* Advanced Excel skills (modelling, automation, scenario analysis).
* Strong SQL skills to work with complex data sets.
* Hands-on experience with Anaplan for planning and forecasting.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
* Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to balance detail with the bigger picture.
This is offered as a fixed term contract for a period of 12 months.
