Summary
Glynde Ward is a busy, acute 30 bedded Ward in Acute General Medicine. We have an excellent multidisciplinary team approach and work with an exceptional, extended team.
We are looking for experienced Clinical Support Workers; hospital experience is desirable but not essential. A minimum of GCSE English and Maths grade C or 4 or Functional skills for English/Maths, Care Certificate and/or NVQ2 in health and social care or the equivalent role is required.
Responsibilities
* Provide delegated clinical procedures such as insertion and removal of cannula
* Perform venepuncture
* Assess wounds and provide simple dressings
* Remove urinary catheters
* Complete the Induction course, including all Trust statutory and mandatory training
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, using your own initiative and effective interpersonal and communication skills
* Commit to high standards of patient care and personal professional development
Qualifications
* Minimum of GCSE English and Maths grade C or 4, or Functional Skills for English/Maths
* Care Certificate and/or NVQ2 in health and social care, or equivalent
* Hospital experience is desirable but not essential
