Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. Responsibilities
* Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to ensure premises are hygienic and presentable
* Clean and sanitise toilets, washbasins, and other sanitary fittings in accordance with health and safety standards
* Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, and surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment
* Dispose of waste materials responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed
* Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
* Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
* Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe working environment
Experience
* Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous
* Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team setting
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
* Reliable with good organisational skills and punctuality
