We are always looking for the best people to join our growing and successful business, and in 2026 we wish to appoint an experienced Sales Director to drive strategic growth and lead our sales function during an exciting period of expansion. This is a senior leadership role where you'll shape our commercial strategy, develop key client relationships, and build a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and execute sales strategy for growth across existing and new market sectors
· Lead business development activities targeting high-value contracts and framework agreements
· Manage major tender processes and client negotiations
· Build and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers in Manufacturing, M&E Engineering, Construction, Logistics, Petrochemical, Energy and Utility industry sectors
· Provide commercial leadership and oversight of sales operations
· Identify value-added service opportunities that differentiate us from competitors
· Drive performance through KPIs, pipeline management, and forecasting
· Represent the business at industry events and with key stakeholders
Salary: Negotiable based on experience. The role comes with a company car / car allowance, IT, Telephone, Pension and includes an uncapped Commission Bonus Scheme and Net Profit Share.

Essential Requirements
· Proven track record in senior sales leadership, ideally within PPE, workwear, safety equipment, or industrial supply sectors
· Experience selling into Manufacturing, M&E Engineering, Construction, Logistics, Petrochemical, Energy and Utility industry sectors.
· Strong understanding of COMAH sites, safety compliance, and regulatory requirements
· Demonstrated success in winning and managing major contracts and framework agreements with a commercial acumen - understanding margins, pricing strategies, contract profitability, and ROI.
· Experience setting and achieving revenue targets and managing P&L responsibility
· Strategic thinker with commercial acumen and ability to identify growth opportunities
· Excellent relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders
· Experience managing complex tender processes
· Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required

· With knowledge of procurement and public / private sector frameworks
· With the ability to set clear objectives, provide coaching, and drive accountability
· With an understanding of supply chain management in safety-critical industries
· With experience managing sales pipelines, forecasting accurately, and reporting to board level
· With a track record of building, leading, and developing high-performing sales teams
