Overview
Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Contracting Lead to manage the delivery of a portfolio of ICB contracts, support the negotiation of key peer‑to‑peer contracts, and oversee the Trust’s contractual requirements and risk mitigation.
Responsibilities
* Provide strategic and professional management of the delivery of ICB contracts in partnership with senior contract and finance managers.
* Act as the Trust’s lead negotiator for key peer‑to‑peer (P2P) contracts, setting strategy and managing high‑value, time‑critical negotiations.
* Support the Head of Contracting and Income (HCI) in complex negotiations and act as a deputy where required.
* Lead negotiation and ongoing management of ICB and NHSE healthcare contracts.
* Provide operational leadership of contracting staff, aligning resources to priorities and delivering contract plans.
* Analyse and present EACVs and IAPs, and manage commissioner financial, quality and prior‑approval challenges.
* Ensure delivery of contract activity, income targets, and income recovery; act as a senior point of contact for provider‑to‑provider contracts.
* Apply NHS financial rules, brief senior leaders, support Innovation and Collaboration Scheme discussions, and monitor contractual KPIs.
Qualifications
* Postgraduate qualification in Contracts, Law, Commercial, Procurement or equivalent experience.
* Relevant experience within healthcare contracting.
* Proficiency in IT and project management qualifications.
* Masters degree and/or CCAB qualification.

* Significant NHS accounting experience.
