Are you a dedicated and resilient Maths teacher looking for your next opportunity? We are working with a school in South Manchester to recruit a Maths Curriculum Lead from September 2026.
The school is a Pupil Referral Unit, supporting secondary-aged pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will be managing the Maths department for all sites.
As a Maths Curriculum Lead, you will:
* Deliver high-quality Maths lessons to pupils
* Work alongside other teachers and the SEN team to identify barriers and plan accordingly
* Build rapport and provide pastoral support to pupils
What we are looking for:
* An excellent understanding of the National Curriculum
* Previous experience teaching GSCE maths, preferably within a SEMH setting
* Experience planning, leading and teaching
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential for this position
* Passion for helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential
To Be Eligible You Must:
* Hold the Right to Work in the UK
* Have an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service (or be willing to apply)
* Be able to provide two professional child-related references
