Job Role: Electrician
Location: HMP Coldingley, Shaftesbury Rd, Woking. GU24 9EX
Salary: £43,177.30 per annum + £3000.00 RRA per annum
Contract: Permanent – 39 hours per week – Mon-Fri
We are seeking a dedicated fully qualified Electrician to join our team at HMP Coldingley, a Category C, adult, male prison.
Responsibilities
As an Electrician, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues from various trades to maintain and improve electrical systems, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all.
Qualifications
* Certificate in BS7671:2018 (18th edition)
* Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or Electrotechnical Services (City & Guilds/EAL), including relevant NVQs and competency assessments (AM2/AM2S) – e.g., 2367 or 2357
* Two years' experience as a fully qualified electrician
* Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical systems
* Good working knowledge of planned and preventive maintenance operations
* Good Health & Safety knowledge
* Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
