Job Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and organised Document Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining all project documentation, ensuring that all documents are accurately filed, easily accessible, and up to date. This role is crucial in supporting project teams by providing timely access to essential documents and maintaining compliance with company standards.

Duties
Carry out project office functions including document control, report generation and distribution, maintaining all project files, collecting, chasing and maintaining project data.
* Assist with commercial with estimating, tendering, monitoring and reporting
* Assist in the preparation of project programmes and progress reports.
* Creation and management of project folders.
* Technical Document Management
* Assist with maintaining accurate and up-to-date drawings folders and registers.
* Assist in the preparation of technical submittal packages.
* Assist in the preparation of O&M manuals.
* Assist management in the preparation of operational performance and strategic plans and programmes.
* Assist commercial / construction team and ensure they have access to contract and operational information, drawings registers, project folders etc.
* Identify any problems or issues in admin/operations processes and systems and assist in resolving them in quick and effective manner.
* Maintain clear and accurate documents and records of procedures for future reference purposes.
* Assist with the organising and archive contract documents accurately.
* Assist with any internal team drawings/document requests.
* Endeavour to ensure that all Health & Safety standards are adhered to.
* Assist construction team with preparation, submission and maintaining of site specific health & safety documents and maintaining of same.
* Proactively participate in the delivery of management reporting systems including Cost control, Progress reporting, Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental issues, ensuring compliance to company standards.
* Provide full administrative support to Commercial and Construction departments, making arrangements for meetings, taking notes, preparation of documents, planners and spreadsheets, programme information.
* Carry out project office functions including document control, report generation and distribution, maintaining all project files, collecting, chasing and maintaining project data.
* Establish and administer processes and systems including: keeping all general/project documentation up to date, generating reports, setting up management files for office and site.
* Co-ordinate all data collection requests and returns, taking the necessary follow-up action to ensure deadlines for returns are met.
* Monitor and control the quality and efficiency of all project related data.
Criteria:
* 2 year work-based experience in a similar role or;
* Knowledge and experience in using and working with excel
* Experience of using online project management data base ACONEX, A-SITE or equivalent (not essential)
* HNC/HND or equivalent/higher qualification (not essential)
* OR 3 year's secretarial/clerical experience.
* ANDExperience of using Microsoft Teams to support with project management.

Pay: £30,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
