What the Payroller job involves
Youll be responsible for processing the weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a positive experience for employees who may have payroll or HR-related queries.
1. Processing weekly payroll for around 100 staff on Sage Payroll, including all statutory deductions (e.g., PAYE, NI, pensions, etc.)
2. Calculating bonus pay, overtime and varied hourly rates for staff.
3. Handling payroll queries in a professional and approachable manner
4. Supporting with HR administration, including issuing contracts, offer letters, and contract amendments
