We’re supporting a growing infrastructure contractor delivering complex rail projects across the North West. They’re looking for a technically strong Planner who can take ownership of programme development, NEC delay analysis, and commercial programme management within live environments.

🛠 The Role
As a Senior P6 Planner, you will:
* ✅ Build fully resourced programmes from scratch using Primavera P6
* ✅ Develop robust baselines aligned to methodology, risk & scope
* ✅ Carry out delay analysis & time impact assessments under NEC
* ✅ Work closely with delivery teams on progress & reporting
* ✅ Attend site when required to validate sequencing & methodology
* ✅ Support tender planning where needed
This role suits someone confident in planning logic, sequencing and contractual programme management — not just updating spreadsheets.
✔ Proven ability to build programmes from first principles
* ✔ Strong NEC knowledge (delay analysis, CE assessments, programme clauses)
* ✔ Rail or civil engineering infrastructure experience (rail ideal)
* ✔ Strong understanding of construction sequencing
* ✔ Analytical mindset with attention to detail
🎟 Desirable (training can be funded):
o • Experience in live rail environments
