Robert Half are recruiting a Financial Controller on a permanent basis in Melksham. This role would suit someone seeking a step up into their first Financial Controller role, with 3-5 years post qualified experience.
The role
The Financial Controller will be responsible for all financial reporting for the UK business including coordinating the audit, leading a small team and working closely with the Finance Director to support with reporting and budgeting. We are looking for someone with previous experience of working in audit or as a financial accountant in industry with strong controls knowledge and experience of leading a team. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
1. Year-end statutory reporting.
2. Coordinating and managing the audit, including liaising with external auditors.
3. Partnering with internal stakeholders on finance related queries, including tax matters.
4. Overseeing month end reporting.
5. Managing a team of 4+.
6. Working closely with the Finance Director to support with budgeting and forecasting.
Profile
The ideal candidate will have the following skills or attributes:
7. ACA/ACCA qualified with 3-5 years PQE.
8. Experience of managing/supervising 2+ people.
9. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
10. Strong technical reporting knowledge.

11. £65,000 - £75,000.
