Job overview Permanent role Working core hours, Monday to Thursday 7.00am - 3.30pm, Friday 7.00am - 2.00pm. Hourly rate depending on experience, £15-20 per hour. Whether you have just a few years experience or have been in the industry for decades, this role can be moulded to the right person. All our client asks for is that you are the following: Ambitious Hardworking A great problem solver Diligent Always focused Someone that goes the extra mile Job Summary They are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join their busy manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to fabricate precision components. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Operate CNC machines, ensuring they are set up correctly for production runs. Fabricate components according to specifications and engineering drawings. Use hand tools and machinery for assembly and finishing tasks. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance. Conduct quality checks on finished products using basic maths and measurement tools. Collaborate with team members in the warehouse for materials handling and logistics. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the machining process, applying mechanical knowledge as needed. Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency. Experience The ideal candidate will possess: Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment Familiarity with various fabrication techniques, including milling and welding Strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to read technical drawings Competence in using hand tools and performing assembly tasks A solid understanding of materials handling processes within a warehouse setting If you think you can fulfil the above, we would love to hear from you.
