Job overview Permanent role Working core hours, Monday to Thursday 7.00am - 3.30pm, Friday 7.00am - 2.00pm. Hourly rate depending on experience, £15-20 per hour. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to fabricate precision components. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Operate CNC machines, ensuring they are set up correctly for production runs. Fabricate components according to specifications and engineering drawings. Use hand tools and machinery for assembly and finishing tasks. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance. Conduct quality checks on finished products using basic maths and measurement tools. Collaborate with team members in the warehouse for materials handling and logistics. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the machining process, applying mechanical knowledge as needed. Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency.
