Duties as an Estimator/VDA:
* Conducting detailed assessments of vehicle damage across structural, body, mechanical, electrical, and interior components as part of the Estimator/VDA position
* Preparing accurate estimates including parts, labour, and repair costs
* Completing insurance documentation with precise repair recommendations
* Negotiating contracts with material and parts suppliers
* Ensuring that all work meets manufacturer standards and customer expectations
* Maintaining detailed records to support insurance claims and repair processes
* Acting as a key point of contact for customers and colleagues, demonstrating excellent communication skills
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an Estimator/VDA within a busy bodyshop environment
* Proficiency with estimating software such as Audatex is essential
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent communication and multi-tasking abilities
* Knowledge of manufacturer repair standards and ATA qualifications are advantageous
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Commitment to delivering high-quality service and detailed assessments
