A Snapshot of Your Day Join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in supporting the GSO business! This is a Hybrid role to support the opportunities created by Dynamic Lifing, Part life Unit opportunities and Major events / Site breakdowns. Primarily focused on the physical hands-on repair and support work in our newly created fast repair bay, driving efficiency and maximising material and profit through breakdown repairs and engine rework. The role will also incorporate some back room Engineering and investigation work to highlight future opportunities. How You'll Make an Impact •Responsibility for the hands-on mechanical repair of SGT engines through the FAST repair bay within the Lincoln facility. •Fitting support for all opportunities for returning engines and buybacks to maximise material recovery and profit. •Support the definition of future repairs via engineering scope and parts definition. •Combined ownership of the newly created FAST response bay with the flexibility to influence the workshop space and environment as the department grows. •Collaborate with teams to optimise service scope by removing unnecessary tasks and enhancing operational efficiency. •Flexibility to be deployed to site to support major events / site breakdowns. •Compile end to end projects on Engine History, life and performance including Dynamic Lifing, on job training will be provided. What You Bring •Time served Fitting experience, ideally with a field service background covering the SGT100-SGT400 fleet. Pipe fitting and Electrical background would be beneficial. •Ability to be able to follow and interpret technical drawings, Follow and define Bills of material and keep records / raise notifications. •Technical expertise in engine management maintenance. •A flexible approach to travel, although the job will be mainly based in the Lincoln facility •Excellent communication skills to represent the team during sales handovers and collaborate with engineering teams. •A proactive approach to problem-solving, strong analytical skills and a commitment to maximising operational performance. •Familiarity with STA-RMS would be advantageous but on-the-job training will be provided. •More than anything we are looking for enthusiastic and flexible personnel who are willing to help develop and deliver a world-class proactive support service to the SGT business and our customers.
