Jobresponsibilities:
* Ownand manage a portfolio of Personal Injury claims submitted via theOIC/MoJ portals from receipt of medical evidence through toconclusion contacting policyholders witnesses Third Party insurersto assess and agree liability keeping our policyholders informed onprogress and managing expectations as and whenrequired.
* Effectively negotiate as appropriatewith customers suppliers Unrepresented Claimants and all relevantThirdParty representatives
* Promptly identifypotential fraud indicators which requirereferral
* Ensure that any bodily injury claimswith potential large loss indicators are referredpromptly
* Manage Inbound and outbound phonecalls and ensure all files are reservedaccurately
* Able to effectively assess basicliability decisions
* Ensure all continuousimprovement ideas are raised via the Team leader or TechnicalLead
* Ensure that all expressions ofdissatisfaction are registered
* Carry out dutiesactivities and tasks as directed within the Customer and Operationspillar
* Ensure compliance with Company PoliciesValues and guidelines at alltimes
Experience&knowledge:
* Proven motorclaims experience working within a bodily injury claims environmentgained from a motor insurer
* Experience ofhandling personal injury claims including indemnity validationaccurate reserve setting liability resolution quantum assessmentand settlement techniques
* Experience handlingclaims within the OIC (Official Injury Claims) Portal or similar(Desirable)
* Experience of handling third partyInjury claims liaising effectively with different claimantrepresentatives (KYO/ Non KYO)
* Proficientknowledge of liability assessment
* Knowledge ofregulatory framework relating to Motor Claims and principles ofEnglish Law
* Previous knowledge of FCArequirements (including TCF)
* Conversant withall sections of PreAction Protocol for Low Value Personal InjuryClaims Civil Procedure Rules and the Road Traffic Act(RTA)
