Job Description
3. Installation and modification of site electrical services.
4. Maintain effective communication to the Shift Supervisor including plant status, plant isolation, issues arising, ongoing works and standards of housekeeping.
5. Ensure any parts required are clearly and accurately stated and any difficulties encountered on engineering activities are reported to the Shift Supervisor.
6. Plant areas, workshops, stores, changing/rest areas etc. are kept to the highest level of housekeeping
7. Operation and trouble shooting for the following:
8. Building Electrical Installation (associated panels, equipment, and circuits).
9. Emergency lighting.
10. Lighting Control system.
11. Building Management Systems (BMS)
12. Fire suppression and detection systems
13. Air conditioning System, VAV, FCU's and Split Systems.
14. AHU's, Variable speed drives.
15. Heating system.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Electrical Shift Engineer should have:
16. Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
17. Experience working within the property industry or similar environments.
18. A strong understanding of electrical systems, installations, and maintenance.
19. Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to electrical work.
20. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
21. A professional attitude and commitment to delivering high standards.
