About The Role
Join us at SMT GB as a Fleet Administrator, where you’ll play a vital role in our operations! This is your opportunity to ensure the smooth management and maintenance of our fleet. You’ll be the go-to person for all fleet-related activities, keeping our vehicles in top shape and enhancing our service delivery. What you will be doing:
o To provide a high standard of administrative support and assistance to the Fleet Manager and wider QESH Team
o Administration of all reported driving offences and incidents
o Liaise with vehicle drivers and line managers, raising accident reports with insurers.
o Provide fleet related reports as requested
o To assist where necessary in the documentation around external FORS Audits
o Work in accordance with SMT GB standards of health, safety, quality and environmental care.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, And Experience
* Experience in fleet administration or similar role is preferred.
* Strong organisational skills with extraordinary attention to detail.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, to manage data effectively.
* Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—allowing you to engage with a variety of stakeholders.
* Ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
* A proactive approach with a problem-solving mindset.
Desirable:
* Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
* Familiarity with fleet management software.
