Graduate Teaching Assistant – September 2025 We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant client secondary school in Old Trafford. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates who have a specialism subject that they are passionate about and who are looking to gain valuable experience in a supportive learning environment. You will work closely with talented teaching staff to support students in Key Stages 3 and 4. The school is situated in the heart of Trafford, only a 10-minute walk from the nearest public transport links (including Bus and Tram stops) but also has a large onsite car park for members of staff with a vehicle. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one support to students requiring additional assistance with their academic work. Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities to small groups of students. Mark and provide constructive feedback on students’ work to enhance their understanding. Support students with homework and revision, both individually and in small groups. Collaborate with other teaching assistants and staff members to ensure the smooth running of the department. Requirements: A degree in any subject area is essential. Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or Tutor in a secondary school setting is desirable but not essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A genuine enthusiasm for supporting students in their learning journey.
