Job Title: Electronics Technician - 3 months Fixed Term Contract or Contractor

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician for 3 months with expertise in DC design, assembly, and testing for telecom applications. The technician will be responsible for building, assembling, and validating electronic circuits and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. This role requires hands‑on proficiency in electronic hardware, troubleshooting, and test equipment, with a strong focus on telecom power systems and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
 * Perform DC circuit design, prototyping, and assembly for telecom power supply and related systems.
 * Assemble, wire, and integrate electronic components and modules according to schematics and assembly drawings.
 * Conduct functional, performance, and compliance testing using oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, and other electronic test equipment.
 * Troubleshoot, repair, and optimize electronic assemblies to meet specifications and telecom industry standards.
 * Document test results, design modifications, and assembly procedures in line with quality assurance requirements.
 * Collaborate with engineers to support product development, validation, and continuous improvement.
 * Ensure adherence to safety, ESD handling, and regulatory compliance procedures.
 * Maintain inventory of electronic components, tools, and testing equipment.
Qualifications & Skills
 * Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
 * Proven experience in DC circuit design, PCB assembly, and electronic testing (preferably in telecom applications).
 * Strong understanding of telecom power systems (DC‑DC converters, rectifiers, battery backup systems, etc.).
 * Proficiency in using electronic test instruments (oscilloscope, power supply, network analyzer, etc.).
 * Hands‑on soldering and rework skills (through‑hole and SMD).
 * Ability to read and interpret circuit schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
 * Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
 * Attention to detail, quality‑focused, and safety‑conscious.
 * Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Experience
 * Knowledge of telecom standards (e.g., ITU, ETSI, IEEE).
 * Familiarity with power electronics and energy‑efficient design.
 * Experience with CAD tools for schematic and PCB design is a plus.
