We are seeking a Tester with strong skills in integration testing across cloud platforms to support our higher education client on a Salesforce Education Cloud implementation.
The Tester will be responsible for validating end-to-end integrations and ensuring all non-functional requirements, including performance, security, reliability, and automation, are met. The role involves building test coverage into CI/CD pipelines to ensure quality at speed within an Agile, DevOps-enabled environment.
* Experience in system integration testing across distributed systems and cloud platforms.
* Hands-on knowledge of Azure integration services such as Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, and API Management.
* Experience with REST API testing, Swagger/OpenAPI validation, and API test automation.
* Background in non-functional testing, including performance, security, and resilience testing.
* Ability to embed test automation into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
* Experience with test automation and load testing tools like Postman, JMeter, Locust, Selenium, or ReadyAPI.
* Knowledge of monitoring/logging platforms such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or Log Analytics.
* Strong defect management, documentation, and test traceability skills using tools like Azure Boards, Jira, or TestRail.
* Experience with higher education systems, especially SITS and student lifecycle integrations.
* Experience with Salesforce Education Cloud and Canvas LMS APIs and data structures.
* Knowledge of GDPR compliance, security testing, and data masking in test environments.
* Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code and test environment automation.
* Experience with contract testing frameworks like Pact and API mocking/stubbing approaches.
* ISTQB Foundation or equivalent testing qualification.
This is a 12-month contract with the scope to extend.
The role offers hybrid working with 2 days on-site per week in London.
The daily rate is £400 outside of IR35.
