About the Role An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Vehicle Mechanic to join a well-established and reputable automotive business based in Bridgend.
Working within a busy and fully equipped workshop, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of vehicle makes and models. This role would suit a skilled technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and enjoys solving mechanical faults and challenges.
Key Responsibilities Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards
Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment
Complete MOT preparation work and ensure vehicles meet roadworthy standards
Repair and replace components including engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, and braking systems
Conduct vehicle inspections and identify additional repair requirements
Maintain accurate service records and workshop documentation
Work efficiently to meet workshop deadlines and productivity targets
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with health and safety regulations
Deliver consistently high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction
What We're Looking For Proven experience working as a Vehicle Mechanic, Vehicle Technician, or Automotive Technician
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
Experience carrying out servicing, repairs, and MOT preparation
Confident using diagnostic equipment and workshop tools
Good understanding of modern vehicle systems and repair procedures
Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
Full UK Driving Licence
Reliable, professional, and hardworking attitude
