We are experts in the delivery of Systems, Safety and Simulation engineering services helping to develop complex, safety-critical aircraft systems from large-aircraft to smaller eVTOLs.
Due to our continued success, we are looking to recruit a Principal System Engineer to support our team in our Bristol office.
Role Description
This is a full-time role based in our Bristol office with the flexibility for some working from home. The Principal Systems Engineer will be responsible for leading the development, verification, and validation of complex systems for our aerospace customers.
They will also work independently to execute engineering services, will lead a small team of engineers, where needed, and will liaise directly with our customers, therefore confidence in their ability to communicate to different stakeholders is a must have.
We are strong adopters of MBSE and Safety Engineering practices in accordance with ARP4754 and ARP 4761, therefore experience of applying these methodologies is advantageous, but not essential.

Due to the nature of our work, applicants must have the ability to gain SC Clearance.

Required Experience
* 5+ years experience in aerospace
* Systems in accordance with ARP 4754, including
* both sides of the 'V' lifecycle
* experience concepting and designing systems up to CDR
* Safety in accordance with ARP4761, including
* (P)SSA, FHA, FTA, CMA, (I/P)FMEA
* Development of safety critical systems, including one of the following:
* Electrical
* Fuel
* Landing Gear
* Flight Systems
* Avionics
Desirable Experience
* Certification to EASA, FAA, CAA or other civil.
* Certification to defence standards
* Hazard identification and management
* safety case reporting
* bow tie analysis
* Simulation (mathematical modelling, CFD, FEA
* Safety in accordance with Defence standards
* Cyber Security Experience
* AI experience
