Your new role As a Chartered General Practice Estates Surveyor, you will be responsible for the effective management, valuation and strategic oversight of a wide-ranging estate. You will lead on landlord and tenant matters, including rent reviews, lease renewals, acquisitions, disposals, and asset optimisation. You will produce high-quality professional reports, undertake Red Book valuations, support estate strategy development, and ensure statutory, H&S and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, consultants and commercial tenants to maximise estate performance and long-term value. What you'll need to succeed MRICS Chartered Surveyor status (General Practice / Commercial Property pathway). Strong technical knowledge of estate management, valuation, landlord & tenant legislation and professional surveying standards. Experience managing mixed property portfolios within commercial, institutional or public sector environments. Excellent analytical, negotiation and report‑writing skills. Ability to interpret legal documents and advise on complex property issues. Confident communication and stakeholder management skills. A proactive, commercially aware and strategic mindset.
