The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Psychologist - Senior (Mental Health - Adult Eating Disorder Program) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH), where our 12,000-strong team is focused on providing world-class healthcare to people living in the Gold Coast and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
* Deliver high-level clinical services in accordance with professional code of ethics
* Provide efficient, responsive, and recovery-oriented mental health care in a variety of hospital and community settings
* Provide intensive mental health interventions and ongoing assessments for consumers requiring high-intensity services
* Work collaboratively with clinicians, multidisciplinary staff, service providers, and non-government organizations
About you
To be successful in this position, you will require:
* A tertiary degree in Psychology
* AHPRA Registration
* A postgraduate qualification from a relevant accredited psychology training program (well regarded)
* Driver's Licence
* Evidence of vaccination, or ability to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Hepatitis B
* Tuberculosis screening to determine if vaccination is required
* Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
* Criminal History Screening (cost covered by GCH)

* Base salary ranging from $128,169 to $137,918 per annum

The Adult Eating Disorder Program provides consultation, liaison, care coordination, assessment, and targeted interventions for consumers and their families with eating disorders or experiencing the onset of an eating disorder and related mental health needs. This service adopts a recovery-oriented, person-centered, strengths-based, collaborative, and empowering approach.
