Lead Building Services Engineer (Mechanical)
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Building Services Engineer (Mechanical) to provide technical leadership and deliver high-quality engineering services across a diverse property portfolio. This role involves overseeing planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring compliance with statutory duties, and supporting the development of sustainable and efficient building services solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of mechanical engineers and technicians to deliver effective maintenance and project services.
* Provide expert guidance on mechanical building services engineering (BSE) systems and ensure technical excellence.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to implement resilient property maintenance strategies.
* Manage budgets, procurement processes, and contractor performance.
* Support the development of technical specifications, risk assessments, and engineering reports.
* Contribute to continuous improvement through lessons learnt and innovation.
Requirements:
* Degree or HND in Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
* Professional registration as an Incorporated Engineer.
* Strong experience in mechanical BSE design, maintenance, and project delivery.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
