Overview
Band 5 Community Staff Nurse – 22.3 hours per week. Jedburgh District Nursing Team. 3 x 7.4 hour shifts on a rota basis (0830-1630 / 1000-1800), Monday to Sunday.
We are seeking to recruit a Registered Nurse to work within Cheviot District Nursing Team. You will work within a dynamic and motivated team delivering a variety of care needs alongside the wider health care team to patients in their own home.
Responsibilities
 * Provide high quality nursing care to patients in their own homes as part of the community team.
 * Work with the wider health care team to plan and deliver patient care in a variety of community settings.
Qualifications and Skills
 * Current registration with the NMC.
 * Experience of working in the community is desirable but not essential.
 * Enthusiastic, caring, with excellent communication skills and able to adapt to different environments.
Requirements
 * Driving licence is essential.
 * The post is based at Jedburgh Health Centre in the first instance.
Compliance and Background Checks
From 1 April 2025, there may be changes to the level of criminal records check required. If the post is assessed as a regulated role, appointment will be subject to joining the PVG Scheme. Details will be confirmed by the Hiring Manager or Recruitment Team. All pre-employment checks will include entitlement to work in the UK and other necessary checks in line with NHS Scotland policy.

In certain cases, sponsorship via a UK Skilled Worker/Health & Care Worker Visa may be possible if the employer is a licensed sponsor and if the post meets visa requirements. This is subject to current sponsorship criteria.
