Location: Vacancies available in Natland and Kendal
Salary: £24,790 £29,093 per year + £3,120 annual sleep-in allowance + comprehensive benefits
Hours: Full-time 39 hours per week (rotational shifts, including 1 sleep-in per week)
About the Role : Were looking for caring, committed, and compassionate individuals to join our team as Day Support Workers. You'll be supporting children aged 6 to 12 who have experienced trauma, helping them heal, grow, and build brighter futures.
Working in a therapeutic 24-hour care and education service, your role will be vital in supporting children to develop positive relationships, self-confidence, and essential life skills both at home and in school.
About You : You dont need to be a child care expert just someone with heart, resilience, and the desire to make a difference. We offer full training and development for the right person.
What were looking for:
A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential
Experience in child support, education, or care is desirable but not essential
Confidence in managing challenging behaviour and providing personal care
A strong understanding of safeguarding and commitment to safe practice
NVQ qualifications are a bonus but well help you achieve them if not!
