Overview
A standout opportunity has become available for a proven Product Owner to join one of the UK's most dynamic Wealth Management Firms at their North East Head Office.
As a Product Owner, you will lead the development and delivery of technology solutions that support the financial advisory and wealth management services. You will work cross-functionally and throughout the product life-cycle to define product vision, translate business needs into actionable development plans, manage priorities and backlog, and ensure successful execution aligned with strategic goal, including business roll out.
Responsibilities
* Own the product lifecycle from ideation to delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
* Develop and maintain detailed user stories and requirements that guide development teams.
* Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather input and prioritise the product backlog.
* Lead sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives with development teams.
* Manage relationships with external vendors, ensuring service quality, compliance, and integration.
* Support business rollout coordination, including training, communications, and change management.
* Ensure regulatory and compliance considerations are embedded in product design, especially around data handling and client interactions.
* Monitor product performance and user feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role, preferably in Financial Services.
* Demonstrated track record of driving change through Agile delivery frameworks
* Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder engagement skills
* Experience developing user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria
* Ability to work with data-driven insights and translate them into product decisions
* Self-directed and accountable
