Sales Administrator
£30,875 - £33,345 p/a, Monday to Friday, 7am - 5pm, Wivelsfield, Annual bonus scheme, Christmas shutdown, 28 days annual leave inc bank holidays, company days out/events/incentives.
The role:
We are delighted to be working exclusively with a local family run business who are in need of an additional Sales Administrator, to join their small closeknit team. This is a busy role within a service driven business, and requires a good geographical grasp on Sussex and the South East.
Key responsibilities:
Answer inbound calls from customers regarding deliveries and bookings, provide quotations and PCI compliant payments
Liaise with drivers and customers to confirm schedules and coordinate delivery logistics ensuring an accurate 2 hour window
Develop and optimize delivery routes for HGV trucks, considering timing and route efficiency
Liaising between various contractors and suppliers to ensure all jobs are completed in the agreed timescales and to agreed budgets.
Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer needs are met promptly and professionally
Keep accurate records of bookings, routes, and customer interactions
Requirements:
Applicants must possess strong communication and customer service skills, with a solid understanding of Sussex geography and its surrounding areas. Experience in route planning or logistics is preferred. Excellent organizational and time management abilities are essential, along with the ability to work efficiently from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Proficiency in computer scheduling software is also required to excel in this role. You will also need your own mode of transport due to location.
